XWHO, formerly founded in 1963 as Re-Con, is an interdisciplinary firm of more than 150 landscape Architects, architects, planners, engineers. XWHO believes that a powerful work comes from the understanding of nature and culture. By providing the best service, it keeps challenging itself to demonstrate the best that can be done.
In 2001, XWHO China was established in Hangzhou, China. So far it has set up five offices which are located in Hangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hongkong, and there are more than 200 staff altogether working for the organization.
XWHO Design is enhanced by a group of professionals with international background. XWHO tries to put a large context such as culture, nature or social forms into the projects. The communication with its peers and clients is seen as a very important stimulus adding to its practice and research.
XWHO China has been involved in thousands of projects covering a hundred cities overall in China or oversea market. Among them, there are many successful cases have set classical samples for modern design in exploring traditional culture, and to create the work with innovative thinking.
